SBI CBO Age Limit (as of October 31, 2023)
As of October 31, 2023, you must be between the ages of 21 and 30. Candidates must have been born between October 31, 2002 and November 1, 1993 (both days inclusive).

SBI CBO Experience
SBI requires a minimum of two years’ experience (as of 31.10.2023) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank for all new graduates.
SBI CBO Local Language
Candidates applying for openings in a State must present a 10th or 12th grade mark sheet/certificate demonstrating knowledge of the unique local language of the applied State as one of the courses studied.
Process of SBI CBO 2023 Selection
SBI CBO selection will be based on an online computer-based test and interviews. The bank, however, reserves the right to conduct a written test.The shortlisting parameters will be decided by the Bank’s Shortlisting Committee, and an acceptable number of candidates will be shortlisted and invited for interviews, as defined by the Bank. The decision of the bank to invite candidates for interviews is final.
Merit List: The merit list for the SBI Circle Based Officer 2023 test will be created in decreasing order based only on interview results.
The merit list will be compiled by state and category. If more than one applicant achieves the cut-off points (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked in descending order by age, in merit.

Salary for SBI CBO in 2023
According to the official SBI CBO Notification 2023, the starting SBI CBO Salary will be in the scale of JMGS-I (36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2- 49910-1990/7-63840), Add one increment for each year of service in the officer cadre of a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank.
In addition, the official will be eligible for D.A., H.R.A/Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances and benefits as established by the rules in effect at the time.
SBI CBO Career Path
After joining, the selected individuals will be designated as “Circle Based Officers” (CBOs) and will be on probation for 6 months.
During their probation phase, CBOs will be subjected to continual evaluation to determine their suitability for confirmation. Candidates who pass their examination as determined by the Bank from time to time shall be confirmed in the service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). If a candidate fails to meet the basic requirements, his or her services may be terminated in accordance with the Bank’s current policy.
The selected officers will be in the general cadre and will be subject to the Bank’s general cadre advancement process. The selected candidates will not be eligible for inner-circle transfers until they are promoted to SMGS-IV Grade or have served 12 years, whichever comes first.
SBI CBO 2023 Admit Card
The State Bank of India has declared that the online test would be held in January 2024, and the call letter has been released for the same. Candidates must bring a paper copy of their SBI CBO Admit Card to the exam hall, which can only be accessed from the SBI official website @sbi.co.in.
SBI CBO 2023 Result
After the SBI CBO 2023 Exam, the State Bank of India will disclose the roll numbers of those who have qualified for the next round of the selection process within a month. The SBI CBO Result will be available only on the official website, where applicants can verify their results. There will be no SMS or mail sent to candidates regarding their qualifying status.
