IND vs NZ, World Cup semifinal:

Team India has been on a roll in the present men’s ODI World Cup, winning all nine matches so far. On their road to the semifinals, the team has exhibited flawless form and demolished every opponent. While the team will try to sustain its winning streak, New Zealand, who has a history of undermining India’s chances at important ICC events, will stand in their way.

During the pre-match press conference, Rohit Sharma stated that the focus is on the moment. India’s winning streak will also provide some comfort to fans. Both teams had previously met in the league stage in Dharamsala, with India winning by four wickets.

While New Zealand will want vengeance, India also has unfinished business with the Black Caps. It was the same opponent that knocked India out of the previous World Cup semifinal. Two years later, in the World Test Championship final, New Zealand defeated India.

However, given their recent form, India appears to be the favorites going into the competition. While India remains unblemished, New Zealand has suffered four consecutive defeats, throwing their campaign into turmoil.

As the two teams prepare to face off in the first semifinal at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, here are some critical statistics:
